Your Design Journey with MLK
Your Initial Design Consultation
Your initial consultation is a 90-minute, one-to-one appointment with your dedicated kitchen designer. Your designer will take the time to understand your project, your home, how you use your space and what you want your new kitchen to achieve, alongside your design preferences and budget.
Together, you'll explore the possibilities for your kitchen, working through the decisions that will shape the design, from layout, functionality and storage to appliances, materials and finishes. Your designer will guide you through our full-size showroom displays, helping you compare options, understand what will work best for your space and make informed choices for your project.
By the end of your consultation, you'll have greater clarity around what's possible, a clearer direction for your kitchen and the confidence that your project is in experienced hands.
Your Bespoke Kitchen Design
Following your initial consultation, your designer will begin bringing your ideas, requirements and priorities together into a kitchen design created specifically for your home and how you live.
Approximately two to three weeks later, you'll return to the showroom for your complimentary design presentation. Your designer will present your proposed kitchen in full 3D, taking you through the layout, design choices and recommendations, together with an itemised quotation so you can clearly see how your budget has been allocated across your kitchen.
This is an opportunity to experience your kitchen design in detail, understand the choices that have the greatest impact on your overall investment and explore where you may want to prioritise, refine or adjust elements of the design. Your designer will guide you through the options available, helping you balance design, functionality and budget as you move towards a kitchen that's right for you.
Securing Your Design & Booking Your Project
When you're ready to move forward with your kitchen, a €1,000 booking deposit secures your quotation and gives you full access to your detailed 3D kitchen design.
From here, you'll continue working directly with your designer to refine your kitchen and bring every detail together. Further design appointments are complimentary, giving you the time to explore options, compare finishes and make considered decisions around colours, worktops, appliances, handles, lighting and internal storage.
Your designer will remain your dedicated point of contact throughout the design stage, providing guidance and support as your kitchen progresses towards final sign-off.
Once your design is finalised, we'll complete a site survey and prepare your production drawings for approval. Following sign-off, your kitchen moves into production at our manufacturing facility in Roscommon, with our manufacturing, installation and customer support teams managing the next stages through to installation and aftercare.
